Greg raced at the highest level of the sport for over two decades, and has spent the decade since coaching — bringing that same attention to detail to athletes of every level, from first-timers building a base to racers chasing a specific result.

Coaching is built around TrainingPeaks and real conversation, not a one-size-fits-all plan. If you want a coach who actually reads your data and tells you what it means, this is that.

No power meter? Not a problem. Power is the gold standard, but every session in your plan can be prescribed one of three ways: your own wattage (from an early ramp test), the Borg RPE scale — a 0–10 Rating of Perceived Exertion scale used throughout exercise physiology to gauge training intensity by feel, validated against physiological markers like heart rate and lactate — or a percentage of your maximum heart rate. Tell us which data you train with and your plan is built to match it.
On Zwift? Connect TrainingPeaks to your Zwift account and each day's scheduled session pushes straight into Zwift automatically — open the app and your workout is just there, structured and ready to ride, no re-entering intervals by hand.
How It's Built

Designed around the hours you actually have

Every plan starts with one honest question: how much time can you really commit each week? That answer shapes the training itself, not just the schedule.

~6 hours a week

Focused

Not enough volume to build a big easy base, so we don't try to. Training concentrates into threshold and sweet-spot work — fewer hours, but every one of them earns its place.

~9 hours a week

Pyramidal

Enough time for a real aerobic base, with room to layer in tempo and threshold work on top. Mostly easy, a solid chunk of moderate, a little truly hard.

12-15+ hours a week

Polarized

Enough time to train the way it's done at the top level — the large majority easy, a small amount very hard, and not much time spent in between.

Your Weekly Debrief shows exactly which shape your training took that week, and the Monthly Recap shows the pattern over time — so the plan stays built around your actual life, not a generic template.

Why it works

Data means nothing without someone who actually reads it.

Most coaching plans give you a calendar of workouts and go quiet. This one doesn't. Every week and every month, you get an honest read on how things are actually going — not just whether you did the sessions, but what your body's telling you underneath them.

No jargon you need a glossary for. No generic AI summary. Just a coach who's actually looked at your data and has something worth telling you, written the way you'd want a coach to say it — warm, direct, and grounded in your own numbers.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

What happens if I miss a week or a session?
Life happens — work, travel, illness. Miss a session and it's fine, just pick back up where you can; there's no penalty and nothing to reset. If you know you're going to be out for longer (an injury, a big trip), use the Manage your plan page to pause instead — billing stops and your calendar goes quiet until you're ready to start again.
Do I need a power meter?
No. Power is the most precise option, but every session can also be built around heart rate or the Borg RPE scale — how hard it feels, on a 0–10 scale — instead. Tell us which one you train with when you sign up and your whole plan is built to match it, no guessing required.
Can I train indoors only?
Yes. Every session works just as well on a smart trainer as it does outside. If you're on Zwift, connect it to your TrainingPeaks account and each day's scheduled workout pushes straight into Zwift automatically — structured and ready to ride, no re-entering intervals by hand.
When does my first training block land in my calendar?
Once you've connected TrainingPeaks and told us your training hours, Greg builds your first 4-week block around your specific answers and reviews it himself before it's yours — typically landing in your calendar within a day or two.
How do I pause or cancel?
Anytime, no back-and-forth emails needed — use the Manage your plan page (linked in your welcome email, and at the bottom of this site) to pause for an injury or break, resume when you're ready, or cancel outright.
Is there a contract?
No. It's a straightforward monthly subscription — cancel anytime, no lock-in, no cancellation fee.
How often will I actually hear from my coach?
Every week, a Weekly Debrief — a quick, honest read on how your training actually went. Every month, a deeper Monthly Recap looking at the bigger trend. You're never just handed a calendar and left to figure it out alone.
What if my fitness changes partway through a block?
Your plan starts from a baseline test in week 1 (a ramp test if you train by power, a threshold heart-rate test if you train by HR — RPE-based plans skip this, there's no number to calibrate), so it's built around where you actually are right now. As you get fitter, that shows up in your Weekly Debrief and Monthly Recap, and your next block is adjusted to match.
